Every plan has the full take-off, the bill and the Corbel Assistant. You only choose how many projects, people and AI reads you need. Start with a 1-month free trial, no card needed. Prices exclude VAT.
If you haven't subscribed, your account is paused. You can still open your projects, drawings and estimates, but not edit them. Nothing is deleted, and subscribing restores full access straight away.
What does Corbel read from my drawings?
It reads the drawing before you measure: schedules, printed room areas, spec notes and the scale, and it traces plan walls drawn in CAD-red masonry. You confirm or reject each reading, and you draw whatever the drawing doesn't state.
Can I trust the numbers?
You decide. Corbel shows what it read, and you accept or reject each reading. Every bill line traces back to where it was measured, rates never change on their own, and nothing is written to your bill until you accept it.
Does it work on scanned drawings?
Yes. On a scan, Corbel still reads the printed room areas, the door and window schedule and the scale. Plan walls are only traced from a CAD vector PDF with the masonry drawn in red, so on a scan you draw the walls yourself. Either way, you confirm every reading.
Can I use my own rates?
Yes. Build your rate library from the rates your firm actually uses, or start from the SA starter library. Lines pick up those rates when you review them on Materials and draft the bill, and nothing in your bill changes until you accept it.
What is the Corbel Assistant?
A chat built into Corbel, included in every plan. It walks you from the analysis to a full priced bill: it explains what was read, cleans up wrong or duplicate readings, prices unpriced items from your rate library and drafts the BoQ. It only proposes. Every change is a card that lists exactly what it will do, with a tick on each line, and nothing changes until you press Apply. Removals, and changes to a rate you set yourself, start unticked unless you asked for them. You can Undo an applied card while the items it changed are untouched.
What is a turn, and what if I run out?
A turn is one message you send to the Assistant, with its reply. Each plan includes a monthly allowance: Solo 40, Studio 100, Consultancy 150 and Enterprise 1 000 turns a month. The free trial includes 20 turns for the whole trial. Applying or undoing a card doesn't use a turn. If you run out, the Assistant pauses until your allowance renews and the rest of Corbel carries on as normal. To carry on sooner, add Extra Assistant turns: +100 turns a month for R490 a month or R4 900 a year, excl. VAT, on any plan.
Does it work with WinQS, QSPlus or Excel?
Bills export as ASAQS-format Excel, PDF or CSV. The Consultancy plan also exports a WinQS bill. For QSPlus and other estimating packages, Excel or CSV is how you move a bill across.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. There's no fixed-term contract and no cancellation fee. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and your projects are kept, not deleted.
