Take-off and bill in one tool
Many QSs measure in one tool and price in a spreadsheet. The quantities get re-typed between the two. In Corbel the drawing, the take-off and the bill live in one project, so a change in one flows through to the others.

You stay in control
Corbel shows you what it read from the drawing. You accept or reject each reading. Nothing reaches the bill without your confirmation.
The Corbel Assistant is a chat built into Corbel. It explains what was read, cleans up wrong or duplicate readings, prices unpriced items from your rate library and drafts the bill. It only proposes. Every change is a card that lists what it will do, and nothing changes until you press Apply.
What Corbel reads, and what you draw
Corbel reads the printed room areas, the door and window schedules, the spec notes and the scale. It traces plan walls only from CAD vector linework with the masonry drawn in red. On a scan, or any drawing without red masonry, you draw the walls yourself.
Corbel does not detect room polygons. You measure whatever the drawing does not state, using the rectangle tool for areas and Count for items.
Your rates and your exports
Build your rate library from the rates your firm uses, or start from the SA starter library. Lines pick up those rates when you review them on Materials and build the bill.
Bills export as ASAQS-format Excel, PDF or CSV. The Consultancy plan also exports a WinQS bill. For QSPlus and other estimating packages, Excel or CSV is how you move a bill across. Read more on bill of quantities software.
Plans for solo QSs, practices and consultancies
- Solo is for the solo QS: 5 active projects and 5 users.
- Studio is for a growing practice: unlimited projects and 25 users.
- Consultancy is for QS consultancies. It adds WinQS bill export, client rate books, and staff who see only their projects.
- Enterprise is for larger firms. It is priced by agreement.
